Reader Project: State-Inspired Tile Doormat
You may remember our pretty crazy DIY tile doormat project above (with tutorial) from a few months back. We've really enjoyed ours (though we totally need to clean it).
Well today, I'm delighted to share a reader project based on that tutorial.
I was so excited last week to hear from a reader named Lucas, who was inspired by our mat to craft his own. This time, he and his girlfriend used the black tile pieces to create states and this special doormat after he helped her do a cross-country move from Washington to NC to come live with him. Such an awesome spin on our project! The next house we have, I am totes doing something with the state shape.
