A Custom Designed First Birthday Party Invitation

Gosh, I really am loving being able to help family and friends with by making special things for big moments and big chapters in their lives.

I had a recent opportunity to design a first birthday party invitation for my little cousin on Gus's side. Though I haven't met Julia, I had a blast putting together this fun polka dot inspired invite for her and her friend Hayden. I also created some printables for the party that I'll share next week on the blog.

I do a lot of black and white design, mostly cause I love how classic the contrast always is, but this invite was fun as it inspired me to get a little crazy with color. I'm really happy with how it turned out. And yes, it's true, every 12 months we do get cake - and no matter what happens in life, that's a pretty awesome guarantee... right?
